Alien Goddess includes bergamot essence, jasmine grandiflorum SuperInfusion, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla and a note of cashmere. It was created by Firmenich perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne.

The Alien Goddess bottle retains the shape of the original Alien fragrance, launched in 2005, but in a golden color. The fragrance is available as 30, 60 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

My most recent round of samples included this and Burberry Her Elixir. They were the two I really wanted to sniff with high hopes and the others I got were just to bulk out the order lol - we've all been there.

My disappointment is immeasurable lmao, the Burberry is weak AF and smells like boring shampoo, and this one is even weaker! I don't know if I have covid or what lmao but I barely smell anything! I thought Jo Malone was bad, this is crazy I cannot even believe people love this shit????

Smells like the vaguest vanilla coconut and heliotrope combo, extremely EXTREEEEMELY generic smelling and just blah. didn't last 3 hours on my skin and usually I get great results compared to others.

Anyone know if its worth trying the intense or will I just be double disappointed?

MojoCoco85

I get ALOT of jasmine/white florals, no coconut/vanilla sadly (which is a shame) ...still reminds me of the original Alien too which I don't like unfortunately, so this was always a risk for me. It's certainly strong & projects so no issues there.

astralmonad870

The vanilla and coconut in this are very weak, and overall this smells like a generic designer scent (which is what it is lol)! For a much better vanilla coconut I prefer Matiere Premiere's Vanilla Powder.

MaggyMay

Bright citrus opening. The coconut water jumps right out. Jasmine vanilla is beautiful but not heavy. Summer in a bottle for me, even more so than Eau Sublime. Has become one of my favorites!

nvsmv

Great fragrance (¿) if only... I absolutely hated it in the beginning and was disappointed by the bland, basic, soapy-ish smell but I don’t know why now I like it, perhaps because now it’s summer? now it’s a beautiful sunny floral vanilla with coconut hints (and still a tiny bit of soap which is what gives the sunscreen vibes everyone’s talking about. it’s what makes this perfume smell clean and fresh. I can see why it would remind some people of fabric softener because that’s what I smelled when I tried this in winter) but it barely lasts (1 hour and a half I can barelyyyyy smell it with my nose in the skin of my wrist) and the projection isn’t great at all, so there’s no point really. shame, it could’ve been a beautiful friendly every day. maybe the intense is better for this

woodlandwitch

Pleasantly surprised! I really did not like ‘Angel’ so I was hesitant to try the rest of Mugler’s fragrances, but this really does smell like a vanilla goddess. It’s nice and sweet, sure to be a crowd pleaser, yet it doesn’t smell juvenile or too generic. I usually don’t like coconut notes but I didn’t mind the one here.

TheCandyperfumegirl

It's a sweet vanilla jasmine scent with a touch of fresh coconut water. It's perfect for all year round. It's a mass appealing fragrance and will remind you of sunny days by the beach. It's a bit thick and sweet so I won't recommend it for too much hot and humid days. But if you're going to stay indoors in an air conditioned room it's a safe choice. I get a clean vibe from this fragrance and I enjoy spraying this all year round. It doesn't have any similarities with the original Alien. But overall it's a mass appealing floral gourmand. Longevity is around 6+ hours with moderate projection.

loveofparfum

I loveeee the opening of this perfume a little floral coconat. But dry down is so boring. There’s only heavy coconat left. Too sweet. I can’t smell any vanilla or cashmeran.
This perfume is more suitable for summer. Longevity is poor on my skin but better on clothes. Sillage is modarete.

berrymilktea

Coconut, jasmine and vanilla on my skin. Its fluffy and sweet. Great office scent for the summer. My mom also loves this, but I don't think it mixed well with her skin chemistry it smelled like funeral flowers on her (most likely that Jasmine). As with almost any perfume I always recommend others to sample before buying. Everyone's nose and skin chem is different. 8/10

Similarien

If you like Vanilla + Coconut, choose Vanilla Powder by Materie Premier. The sillage and longavity on Vanilla Powder is an absolute beast mode.

latafan

The short of it: Mild sunscreen skin scent

The long review:

I'm not sure what is going on here. Either my skin chemistry just gobbles this scent up instantly or it's down to the fact that I live in a hot tropical country - I got it from sephora so it's not a fake - but this may well be my worst-performing perfume.

However, I'm getting ahead of myself. As for the fragrance profile disregarding all of the listed notes I get mostly coconut and tropical white florals, which I wouldn't have identified as jasmine but rather as tiare or something like that. The softest of musk in the base. The all-over impression is that of warm skin and sunscreen. This is the impression I get from first spritz all the way to dry down. No development through wear to talk of. Slightly dull mild sunscreen from beginning to end.

As for performance, it's instantly a skin scent on me. If I want to even be able to smell it myself I'll need at least 5-6 sprays. After 2-3 hrs it's completely gone and I have to reapply. My husband hasn't commented on it once - neither positive nor negative - despite me wearing it in front of him literally doused in it, which means he just doesn't smell it or presumes it's my body lotion.

I'm not saying it smells bad, not at all, for the given price, however, the performance is a joke, and it being so unidimensional doesn't help its case either. I'll still use up my bottle, which won't be hard considering just how much I have to keep spraying of it.

I never thought I'd be ever recommending a Kayali fragrance - usually not a big fan - but you get a very similar scent profile with Utopia Vanilla just with a lot more oomph behind it, both in depth, projection and longevity. Anyway, I'm still giving Alien Goddess a like as it is not bad as such. It's wearable all throughout the year, night or day imo. It's great for people who don't like loud perfumes I guess

anamawsity

Highly disagree with the main accords. On me, this is a lightly floral tropical scent. I mostly get coconut water with a hint of bergamot, and jasmine. I don’t really get much vanilla at all. Jasmine and I don’t really get along so it’s not for me, but it’s not bad. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours. Reminds me a lot of Lattafa Yara. Saw some people compare it to Escada’s Born in Paradise but I disagree. Born in Paradise is much more fresh whereas Alien Goddess is more creamy.

Meli567

Vanilla, jasmine, powder. Definitely coconut. I envision clear blue waters when I spray this. I see a lot of people dislike it, but I enjoy it, and I'm glad I got it for good price at Macy's. This is a very cozy summer scent.

KingKaris

Pina colada sunscreen.

liquidangel

beautiful warm coconut vanilla still with a mysterious aura which Mugler advocate

emilixxy

A fresh, clean, coconut vanilla. I would class this as a freshie gourmand! The dry down is pure vanilla but a very fresh smelling vanilla rather than a sweet vanilla (on me anyways). This is perfect for summer as it’s not too cloying or overpowering in the heat, I like pairing this with SDJ Rio Radiance as I find this enhances the coconut note and they pair together beautifully🥥🤍☀️

TarahB

Nice scent but smells very similar to a few other coconut fragrances & surprisingly the longevity isn’t the greatest either! (A little better in hot weather)
It’s pleasant but not something that stands out for me,
I don’t think I’ll re-purchase which is a shame as I’ve got the refillable bottle & travel spray!

Gladys&Glynnis

This is very reminiscent of MM Replica Beach Walk. For me they both fall into the category of suncream with fresh laundry, but whereas Beach Walk gives sunscreen, yellow florals, salt and laundry detergent, Alien Goddess gives sunscreen, tropical fruits, white florals and dryer sheets. At first I thought these combinations were odd to my nose, but the addition of the “clean” notes makes it more wearable beyond just a vacation scent. I think I like Goddess slightly more; it’s warmer and denser (probably from the vanilla in the base). Beach Walk recalls a cool, breezy day on the eastern seaboard. I already have BW, but I am interested in testing the intense version of AG.

Veronika95

When I first bought this as a 10ml refillable bottle, I threw it in the wardrobe, disappointed. I almost gave it away many times, the only reason I kept it is actually the bottle. It looks like a shattered glass its so cute and I planned to fill it with something else later as a travel size. I even considered pouring the perfume to the garbage so I can use the bottle. It was this worthless for me. It smelled like literally nothing. It was the only way I could describe it, just nothing. But I eventually kept it, and it was there, forgotten… a week ago I found it and smelled it, and holly cow my mind was blown! Coconut, so much delicious deep sweet coconut! The liquid was tiny bit darker but not much as it was in the dark, and smell was just a perfection. And not just that, the projection and longevity improved too! As you can imagine, I almost finished the 10ml within that week, and today I got a new 100ml refill, and what do you know…nothing 😂 but this time, I know this perfume needs to macerate into perfection and I can’t wait 😌 🥥🥥

fanniw

Gosh this is pure headache for me.
The first spray is quite fresh the bergamot is strong and you would think the scent would be okay, but after a few minutes completely disappears and turns into a nauseating screechy sweet coconut cashmere scent.

Definitely not a refreshing citrus and not for summer. It is a heavy coconut whipped cream in itself.

AdalynEverly

Straight up sunscreen. Not a fan at all of that dna. Reminds me of a bad childhood of getting teased for being so pale. It does smell like Maison Margiela beach walk, and if you hate that one you’ll also hate this. If you want to save your money just buy a cheap sunscreen that’s known to have a strong fragrance.

Tarabellexo

So hear me out. I know to most people this isn't on the same level of sophistication of Mugler's typical frags. I am a HUGE fan of Angel and O.G. Alien, but I appreciate that they made something a little more....dare I say conventional? Something about this girl. I had to have it. The smell is addicting. I get the sunscreen thing that people are mentioning but it's so much more to me than that. I'm getting ripe, juicy coconut straight away with swirls of mature vanilla and a slight trace of mango and cantaloupe. There's something very warm and almost laundry like in the mix. I'm assuming that's the cashmeran note. Kind of like wrapping yourself in a warm laundered towel after swimming in the ocean. Something very salty. The jasmine is largely overpowered by the coconut, but that's okay with me. I'm okay with the jasmine being toned down this time! Alien has enough of it. Surprised that this is a flanker of Alien, that's for sure. Not only is this girl beast mode in warm weather, but the alien crystal talisman bottle is EVERYTHIING. It's giving all of the sexy weirdo alien vibes that I've adored since childhood. It's giving Y2K. And I can genuinely attest to that because I grew up in that era. I'm so stoked that you get a refillable bottle because that means I can keep it forever. It's my own special magical talisman. I really do feel more like a goddess when I wear it. I'm glad I bought her. I love that you can register your bottle on the website, as well.

jeannebelmondo

Creamy bergamot dusting powder and Victoria's Secret body mist vanilla musk, very conventional for a Mugler especially one that seems to be so widely beloved. Feels like it should be a J Lo or Britney Spears perfume

It does not smell like Beach Walk, Beach Walk is less screechy more well-blended. The intense version is similar but with more of a syrupy fruity shampoo vibe, both are not worth more than $30

Eriksen

I smell coconut, vanilla, jasmin and ..... banana 👀🤩😂 Banana or not, I really like this creation. A summer hit for sure 🥰

Centsless

This is the summer beach babe perfume I've been looking for since VS quit making Very Sexy Now 2014. I was so sad when I used up my last drop of that one. I had a hunch I would like/love Goddess, already being a Mugler fan. It doesn't smell anything like Alien, by the way. I especially enjoy the dry down, which lasts a good while on my skin. Excited to see how this wears in warmer weather. ✌

Hollyhock38

One of my absolute favourite perfumes, tropical and beautiful!

wuddalooo

On me it’s simply a coconutty vanilla with a hint of jasmine in the background that dries down to a summer-friendly vanilla. Lasts and projects well …no complaints!

Jackween

This was a gift from my MIL and I love it. It smells like warm skin soaking in the sun by the pool with a fresh cracked coconut in hand. It dries down to this radiant, soft almost ambery smell. You may not smell it but its there for a good long while.

billiedenise

I love love love this scent! It’s so comforting and cozy, I like to put it on right after a hot shower after a long day. It’s warm vanilla, coconut, with powdery florals. Got a free sample and fell in love and bought a bigger size and I just keep coming back to it.

Hollyhock38

This perfume is the perfect summer fragrance. It's citrusy, floral with a hint of coconut, very fresh. This will be my most worn fragrance this year without a doubt, I'm buying many back ups 😍 so many compliments when I wear this

AmieClay

Not a perfume expert by any means, and it's hard for me - a beginner - to understand when reviewers compare a perfume to another perfume. I don't know what those other scents smell like, 99% of the time.

So as a hypocrite, I will say this smells like Marc Jacobs Perfect to me, and to avoid being a COMPLETE hypocrite, I will say that it smells nutty (my nose says coconut/almond scent), creamy, and too sweet but... it's just more complex than I care for. But I can see why people like it.

jazzyjuice

If you want a girly-girl softly sweet coconut fragrance, this one is for you.
i asked my sister to grab me a travel bottle of regular Alien for my upcoming travels, and she got this instead because she can't read, so here we are.
i put vaseline on my wrist and did one spray just to smell throughout the day and see if i like it. my coworker complimented me on it 1 hour after i sprayed from a good 3 feet away, so decent sillage in the beginning. however, i'm now at hour 5 and i can hardly smell it with my nose to my wrist.
the alcohol smell you get when you first spray (any perfume) lasts WAY longer on this than it should for the price. for about 30 minutes it smelled like i had just sprayed it. this is a true coconut/coconut-water scent that does not smell like sunscreen whatsoever, so that's a plus. this is a super feminine vanilla coconut fragrance that i think would suit someone either younger or more bubbly than i am.

Januarie

Let me be the coconut police for a min. This does not smell like coconut, it smells like coconut water. Sour, warm, salty. The 'cashmeran' note is also really prominent in the drydown and it just emphasizes the overall salty woodyness. Personally I find this "musty", a little like dust, and just.. sour. I love coconut (the fruit), I also love coconut scents, and when this was advertised as this "coconut vanilla goddess scent" I was so excited I purchased a small tester bottle without thinking. Huge mistake. It's pleasant as a scent but only because it's generic and if you don't do a deep dive into what you're smelling you might not get any mustiness. I would go for the Intense version if you're looking for more vanilla-jasmine, rather than fruity-cashmere. Lasting power is fine, on my skin it lasts 3-4 hours and projects very long on fabrics (bad for me, good for anyone who likes this) and I even got complimented on it by a friend (in my head I was like "do you want it") but oh myyy the drydown of this makes me want to scrub myself with sandpaper and dial soap. Love the Intense version though so Mugler if you're reading this don't hate me x

yousmellspeechless

0/10 - The coconut is quite synthetic, and evokes a scent that-of a cheap hair oil

foxyfloozy

Sniffed it a few days ago on paper in a shop. Wanted to like it reeeeal bad as I'm on holidays and would love to have something summery/tropical leaning (and I love coconut but don't own any coconut frags). Also, I have the OG alien and I really enjoy that. So today I sprayed it on my wrist and walked around with it, sniffing every once in a while. Hate to say... I don't love it! On me there remained a sharpness, something I associate with slightly sour fruitiness, so I guess that's the bergamot? On me, it didn't go beyond the "fruity, slightly sour cocktail drink". Smelled like a tasty and refreshing drink, but not a sexy body scent, it that makes any sense. So I won't be buying it.

hblakes70

I was reading the gals down there 👇 who emailed Mugler… to keep this going and good for you!! Off topic not a review but a comment in regards to the gals below..I too wrote a few emails for Alien Fusion! I know there’s a lot of other gals, that after the original Alien pre reform, alien fusion was a close second favorite! I spend soooo much time monthly looking for pre loved bottles to stock up! I soooo wish they would do the same for Fusion I emailed them five times!!

MaisonTess

Smells like a designer perfume 🤧 was a scrubber for me. Unfortunately the smell is still permeating from my forearm. Headache in a bottle.

HellyKayden

Oh man I wanted to like this so bad! It’s such a pretty smell. If you’re a coconut lover but don’t want to smell like straight up sunscreen this is a good one. The vanilla and cashmeran at the make it nice and warm so you go from fresh fruit to coziness. It’s sooo nice but it disappears on me ☹️ I’ve seen so many positive reviews so I think it’s just my skin. On me it’s get powdery and super light, it loses its touch. But test this out in the store and walk around with it . Because if this lasted on me and was stronger I would probably get a whole bottle.

CosyCattleya

I did not like coconut smells before, but TF Soleil Blanc and Alien Goddess have changed my mind. Are they sunscreeny? yes, but they're $un$creeny lol. They are non-sticky _cool_ coconut water. So airy, so elegant, and serene. I sprayed it twice on the sleeve of my sweater in the store yesterday and I can still smell it today. So, it passes the lasting power test. I want to buy a 50ml, but I'll finish my decants and see if I'm still infatuated with it.

Oh, and I prefer this over the intense version. That one smells too sticky floral and Haribo candy-like to me, hard pass.

cfriel05

I really want to like the OG Alien but just can't so I'm glad I like this one. At first I thought it was too floral for me but it's grown on me! :] At first it's floral, beachy, and fresh -- definitely coconut water. It then turns into a sweet powder but I wish the sweetness was a little darker and less fun, if you know what I mean. I don't think it's all that unique, tbh, but it is cozy and nice!

(.025 oz via MicroPerfumes)

baka.tenshi

This is one of my top 3 favorite scents. I love it.

Anastuki

Mugler is my favourite house, with Alien and Alien Essence Absolue being my favourites. Alien Goddess does not have any resemblance with the original, but that is a good thing! I have the OG if I want to smell like the OG.. Alien Goddess is a creamy vanilla-coconut, mouthwatering, mostly summery scent! You can totally rock it during the others seasons too though. There is nothing to dislike for me there, I wish it had the longevity of the OG Alien though...

Emmasofia

Why do I smell pineapple?? Very yummy and beachy.

FlowerSeeker

A lighter amber scent with light vanilla and sweet coconut. It’s a pleasant fragrance. It has a bit too much coconut for me, though it’s not overwhelming. A sweet and cozy perfume.

bloodsniffer

Sniffed this in store. Smells slightly sunscreen-like, slightly like the beach, but also smells like a sweet drink with coconut milk. I personally think the coconut water + vanilla here smells so yummy. like a little mouthwatering. edible. I can smell the cashmere and the jasmine pretty well too. It's a little salty and i think that's from the bergamot? it's a very pleasant fragrance and i would recommend it, i just wouldn't get it because it doesn't suit me.

Lilasthefrenchgirl

Every time i go to a sephora or to a duty free store, I always find myself smelling this perfume over and over again. This perfume is 100% going on my Christmas wishlist.

If you enjoy light coconut milky vanilla sweet perfumes this is perfect. The coconut is not too overpowering however the perfume as a whole may be too strong for some people but one spray will do the job. It is an excellent SUMMER scent but it could also work as a fall scent because of its warm sweetness. This is great for night and day and makes people want to eat you.I personally think its the best mugler perfume put there. I never recommend people to blind but so go to your nearest store to smell it before buying because you might not like it.

BlackDawn616

One of my biggest disappointments. This was blind buy, but didn't match with me. So familiar cent, so commercial and this coconut water is so strong that I can't stand it. ( BTW I love coconut)

Hi Zoe

Thank you for contacting us at Mugler

Yes, Alien Goddess is a fragrance that is here to stay - however at some point, we eventually do discontinue products to make way for new updated fragrances.

Thanks

After 3 emails to mugler and 3 responses that it’s been discontinued, emailed again after seeing Sab1205 comment and it’s STAYING! YAY!!!

Sabs1205!
From your email I wonder if they’ve had that many emails about it they’ve changed their mind! Yay!! 😁

Hi Zoe,
Thank you very much for getting in touch with Mugler.
Yes, unfortunately, this fragrance is being discontinued.

I smelled it and it felt so familiar. Actually a scent I didn't like. Until I realized - Beach Walk! I don’t like either of these perfumes. There is something very strange and off putting about it. I asked my husband and he also said he doesn’t like it.
I think it’s the coconut scent that I don’t like, little bit too much.
EDIT: After starting to like Beach Walk I will have to get back to this as they are so similar to me.

mrsgomez16

I absolutely love this scent! I found it back in 2022, right before my bachelorette. And when I smell this, I smell VEGAS! In the best way I promise.

It’s an iced coconut drink on a hot summer night, for me. The scent carries well on me, lasting through my event or day- and it doesn’t get headache inducing.

DanielaChz

The beauty in this perfume is found in the dry down. It’s reminiscent of a summers day, but never compromises its sophistication. Upon first spraying you’ll be met with a somewhat bitter floral rush, but as it settles all the creamy and cozy notes take over. Overall, it’s a nice spring/summer scent to have in your collection

—> ATTENTION PART 2! <—
[DIRECT EMAIL FROM MUGLER CUSTOMER SERVICE CONFIRMING ALIEN GODDESS IS NOT DISCONTINUED:]

Hi Sabrina,

Thank you for contacting Mugler.

I hope this email finds you well.

I wanted to reach out to you with an important update regarding one of our products. Amid recent inquiries, we want to reassure you that there are no plans to discontinue the Alien Goddess EDP.

[Finally putting these rumors to rest! This is my third email confirming that this fragrance isn’t going anywhere any time soon. If you need proof, I posted the screenshot of the email sent to me in the fragram photos section. Let’s just be happy, for those who love this stellar perfume / anyone intrigued!] <3

Erianwyn

I mostly get cashmere, jasmine and a hint of coconut. I’m not usually a Mugler fan but I tried this one out of curiosity. It’s a beautiful scent with excellent longevity, I got a full day out of it and can still smell it on my jacket sleeve four days later.

It would be redundant in my collection at this time because it’s very similar to Vanilla Vibes by JHAG (at least on me) but the longevity is better so I would definitely pick up a bottle in the future. I think I’d enjoy this most on a summer evening.

JackieM

L'oreal's current Alien is already a trip to the beach (if you want legitimate *mystery* from your florals, def seek out the Clarins era Alien), but Alien Goddess is for those of you who weren't getting enough coconuts and sunscreen.

This would be pleasant and charming as a Victoria's Secret annual summer scent that gets affordable around the twice yearly sales. For something that costs 100+ from a designer, I'm unconvinced, especially since it lasts 2 hours and has very little projection.

Oxidia

This smells like you are on the beach on +40°c, you are sweating like crazy, but you lather yourself with coconut butter you took from home because you read somewhere you'll tan better.

As you are lathering your self, you realise you just mixed hella armpit sweat with coconut butter and smeared it all over yourself, but you don't care because you'll go for a swim in 20min.

Horrible. It's BO with coconut, that's what this is. Greasy cloying and dirty sour smell.

I don't get why this is so popular. Rancid.

Zeecee

Sabs1205, I emailed mugler again and 2 people confirmed it is being discontinued unfortunately, god knows why because I’ve barely heard any negative reviews!!

Ruthmarie0

latideauq

Dries down to a coco vanilla with somehow some Tiaré flower… I’m super unimpressed. Not a safe blind buy by all means! Get a sample…. Overrated.

Rosiewebber

This one is growing on me. I don’t like coconut, so this was never going to be a favourite, but I love a good vanilla so I gave it a chance.
The coconut water is much more gentle than pure coconut, fresher, though it does have a slightly odd (salty?) edge to it?
The vanilla and florals lend a powdery freshness, it’s sweet but not cloying. It’s a nice summer scent that doesn’t lean as sunscreen. I couldn’t see myself ever wearing this originally, but it’s growing on me just a little.

sabs1205

Now that I've actually bought a sample, I can say it's just as addictive as I remembered a couple of years ago. Very coconut water and nectar-like, and it's like a bright dewy morning with gorgeous gold sun, or golden afternoon. However, the scent is rather 1 dimensional to me as it barely changes. I could see it being great for layering however.

Melis.t

I can't with this scent :( synthetic and cloying, I can't imagine wearing it in summer, near beach etc. Too sweet for my taste.

vildeska

I LOVE this! A fresh coconutty perfume - warm and light. The intense version became too cloying for me, but this is magical. Only wish the projection and longevity was better.

FavourO

I was given this by a friend and at first I wasn't wowed by it. Yes, it smelt nice but I felt it was just a boring vanilla perfume but I what made me change my mind was how long it lasted. I wore this for a wedding in October when it was still cold & it lasted the whole day, I could still smell it on my clothes so for me that made it more interesting and made me reach out for it.

midnightcat

I love this so much. It's really pretty and not in your face kind of fragrance. Beautiful powdery coconut vanilla and the bottle color goes perfectly with the actual scent. I need to get a full bottle.

Anarig97

Finally! A Mugler perfume I can actually say I love. I’ve tried Alien and Angel and they were both terrible. Too screechy and medicinal. However, Alien Goddess is a lot more subtle and it doesn’t overpower the senses or swallow me up like those other two. The initial spray heavily featured the top notes but on dry down I pick up on the vanilla much more. The citrusy, vanilla combination is really pretty here. It’s safe to say I could see myself wearing this in the future.

Zeecee

How do people know this is discontinued?

astralmonad870

This one smells like ripe bananas to me at first🤷🏻. And then the coconut emerges and it is much more pleasant. Performance is terrible though, it just doesn’t last and you will burn through a bottle quickly. I can barely smell this on skin after 30 minutes.

Update: The previous review was written from a brand-new 10 ml travel spray that had just been opened and had that boring designer perfume smell. I then acquired a 60 ml bottle secondhand from someone on Ebay that had been macerating for longer and the jasmine note was more prominent. This bottle smells much better! I like this a lot better than before. The vanilla in conjunction with the other notes is just beautiful.

Forbiddenjade

I love this one, though I too wish it performed better. But I can reapply to my contentment without suffocating anyone around! Maybe new batches will be given oomph. Give it a try, it's awesomely fresh and beachy without being super coconut-ty.

Not sunscreen vibe, rather summery cocktail on the beach. It has weak sillage and longevity, but at least it's not laden with cashmeran in the tonnes, which is THE DNA of most Mugler and what had my stomach churning on many occasions. In other Muglers it was way too much!
And that coconut water note is UNBELIEVABLE! There's nothing yet alike it around, full stop.

Leeenas

I have a weird relationship with this perfume. On the one hand it smells like sunscreen. Just straight up sunscreen and it settles into a creamy but somewhat sour scent on me. But on the other hand it just smells sooo addictive. I wear this nearly everyday and layer it with nearly every other fragrance. Something about it is so nice and creamy, but its also an unusual scent.

Candyshop12

I love this scent so much , i bought another a gift set! Its so summery , creamy and fresh and beautiful and worth the money. If you want a beachy summer spring scent , besides Sol Blanc , add this scent to your collection! This makes Ellis Brooklyn Sun Fruit very weak in comparison, not saying they are alike but for choosing a summer scent , this is best. If you take some fig scent and spray it over this , you will get what Sun Fruit should have been. so good!

Cantorelato

I really like this perfume but as it dries down it has a very weird smell to it. It's not that noticeable but I can still smell it.

Zeecee

Love this perfume so much! If they ever discontinue it I’ll be so sad!

Ali-Delia

I LOVE THIS PARFUM
IT S MY FAVORITE 🩷🩷🩷🩷 PERFECT

Nataliemespino

I bought it because I smelled it at Ulta and loved it. It’s a warm, tropical, jasmine with a hint of coconut. I definitely get mostly vanilla and jasmine. I wore this every day during my last year of college, and I guess I just got sick of it. Definitely save this for the summer, and don’t wear it all the time like me. The scent can get old really fast. But overall, it’s very nice if you like sweet tropicals.

Unrealanna

This smells so good & it has the same dna as 2000’s gourmand scents.
I have already 2 bottles (1 I’m using now & bought a backup) 😱
It’s so sad that they decided to discontinue alien goddess.
Love it 😍

km1266

I've gone off high street perfumes, but I tested this at Superdrug out of curiosity and I had to get it despite the price. It smells like coconut scented sunscreen, but it doesn't smell cheap or synthetic. It's not unique or original, some will find it boring but it's still lovely. I'm glad I found a perfume with that "sunscreen" smell that I love.

This is nothing like the original Alien - this is less perfumery and in your face. I love it, there's something about it that brings me nostalgia. Can't wait to wear it for holidays

Imvanillababyy

This is a perfect perfume for summer. You definitely get sense of sweet, coconut and vanilla and honestly it smells like any GOOD suntan lotion, or SPF product if that makes any sense at all. However, for the price it did not last on me that long I love the packaging and the packaging at the travel size is very cute, however it would last two hours max

ayshee_x

Outstanding fragrance. I could argue it’s one of the best coconut scents of all time. If an all expenses paid beach holiday was a fragrance, this would be it.
I can confirm it does smell very much like the Dove shea butter body wash as one other user has mentioned. It is still a beautiful coconut vanilla scent regardless.

Diana Obmetkin

To me this perfume smells exactly like Dove vanilla and shea butter body wash

aud88

I’ve been searching for “that” perfect scent for years. Beachy, feminine, fun, a bit sexy but not so much that you can’t wear during the day, slight sweetness without the cloying and overwhelming type, a little floral without the sharp green edge. All in all, I kept going back to Kai because it has gained compliments and has a lovely scent but can get a tad green at times on me. What I felt it was missing was the base notes. I wanted to love Beach Walk for the notes, the bottle and the name which is me to a T, but it is a bit like straight sand to me. Now that isn’t a bad thing, but I was wanting a bit of playful sweetness in there. That is where Alien Goddess comes in.

I had avoided trying this one quite frankly due to its name on both counts but read the notes and suggestions as a good beachy perfume similar to Beach Walk, so I went to try it. It was lovely at first spray, definitely with a gentle sweet opening and then I got the mixture of salty sand, a bit of coconut in the background that wasn’t screaming so and a sort of caramely goodness which I think is the bourbon vanilla. All wrapped up with a cashmere sweater but not your grandma’s cashmere. This doesn’t smell perfumey, or overly powder puffy (though has just a bit of powdery sand). I think it does smell similar to Beach Walk, but with a bit of soft floral and I think it could be used nicely with At the Beach lotion from Bath and Body and I think it would be layered beautifully with Kai.

KimberMoon

Love it! I love that it gives beach vibes without being super sunscreeny tanning oilish. I really don’t get Alien DNA from it, which is why I enjoy it more than the intense. The intense is really close to the OG in my opinion. She’s also got some good performance. I know my fellow cozy frag lovers dig this one, most cozy scents are relegated to fall or winter weather it seems-but this baby keeps you huggable throughout the warmer months too, while staying light and sweet. Don’t we need coziness in the summer? I submit that yes…yes, we do.

Ali-Delia

my favorite 😍

Luilind

I so so so wanted to like this.. but I don’t. It smells like a cheap synthetic copy of Vanilla Dry by 1907.

ckeener

I had the chance to smell this at a perfume store, but couldn't buy it then and there. I was blown away by the pure nostalgia this invoked. It reminds me of the coconut-scented suntan oil my mother used in the early 2000s, when she was still perming her bangs and really wanted a beachy tan look for a day out on the lake. I have Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc, and I find Alien Goddess to be... less mature? In the sense that wearing Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc I want to look clean, coordinated, wearing cool neutrals with my skin a bit sun-kissed and sunglasses atop my head. For Alien Goddess, I want sand on my skin, my hair unbleached and a bit messy, and a warm breeze. There is something less reserved about it. I am a sucker for just about any creamy coconut scent and I'd buy this even though I have the TF fragrance.

Shimmer412

A really lovely coconut vanilla with bright bergamot, floral jasmine, slightly aquatic heliotrope, and warm and creamy cashmeran. To me it has a really beautiful, warm, bright, happy, fresh, sunny, beachy feel to it! I do get a bit of a Sun tan lotion only better and more elegant scent. It reminds me a lot of a couple of my other beachy vanilla favorites like JHAG Vanilla Vibes and Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco 21! I absolutely love it!

I find Goddess to be a more versatile vanilla coconut scent that works for more than just summer (like Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco 21) as opposed to some of my other favorite and similar beachy/coconut fragrances like JHAG Vanilla Vibes, JHAG Lust For Sun, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Replica Beach Walk, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, and Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess (as much as I truly adore these others, I typically only wear them during warm weather).

I typically get great longevity with fragrances (even body mists!) and Alien Goddess is no exception, it lasts the entire day on me! The projection is good too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me!

perfumegirly

This one smells AMAZING. The first thing I smell when I spray this is fresh white florals, then after about 10 minutes it fades to this warm, spicy scent. After a few hours the dry down smells similar to Burberry Goddess. My only complaints are that the projection is very weak and the top notes don’t last long.

cflatorrev

This is always going to be one of my favorites.

ariers

I love it. I instantly smelled coconut, and after that is smells vanilla, jasmine and softness. To my nose, i sensed some cocoa butter (?). A very pleasant sweet scent, almost gourmand. I also smelled a bit like sunscreen when i first applied it. My mom smells some freshness in it, almost like it’s a green perfume. So skin chemistry is important 100%

I’d suggest trying before you buy, deffo not a safe blind buy or gift.

Des96

Wow okay, just hear me out. I normally don’t like florals but I think the vanilla and fruits make it bearable. I get such a strong clear jasmine scent, which honestly is confusing my nose because I keep wanting to smell it but not necessarily wear. My problem is I think this may be something I like the smell of, it does remind me of the summer breeze I get here. I never had a scent confuse me before!

caramelemi

Summer fragance
I smell the vanilla but it reminds me of sunblocker but the yummiest one so it doesnt bother me that much

0h3ricaa

After a while of letting this sit and coming back to it… I’ve decided that this does not WOW me. This was not a blind buy for me… I smelt this in stores and it was like THE BEST thing ever. Will get my nose on the intense to see if maybe I got them confused? Alien goddess is a very pretty, warm, creamy and bright fragrance but it does not blow my socks off. To me it smells similar to Utopia Coco Vanille by Kayali (I’m surprised no one else had mentioned this) but I prefer Kayali over this. It has more OOMPH. A creamy, bright sunscreeny coconut with a light Jasmin. Definitely delicious. However, in my opinion not worth the original full price. I will finish Alien Goddess because I do like the fragrance (not a love) I just do not think this would be a repurchase in my collection! ( ˇ෴ˇ )

jxssicamidnight

This is a delicate smelling creamy coconut vanilla with wafts of jasmine on my skin, it projects and lasts about 8 hours on me.
I absolutely adore this perfume!

Maya lilac

You know when you want to like something based on the notes but you sample that and it fails to impress you because it’s just boring and bland ?!? That’s my experience with Alien Goddess…

It has that saccharine sweetness that I personally dislike mixed with coconuts and jasmine, cheap, synthetic smelling vanilla and a hefty dose of powderiness. It gets a tad better in the dry down but the opening had something off putting. Not much else to say about this Alien…

Performance wise it’s not impressive either, it’s not terrible, like a skin scent but it’s lacking the magnificence of the OG Alien.

I own a couple of the fragrances listed in the reminds me of list, and I prefer most of those to this. Beach Walk is voted by other users as the most similar to Alien Goddess but I find that more refined smelling, more tropical leaning and less sugary sweet. More balanced overall.

Holidays by Mancera is an absolute fantastic value for the money with an incredible performance and a more realistic, natural approach on a beachy, coconuty, sweet vanilla kind of scent.

Save your money, there’s much better in this category than Alien Goddess. And some, even cheaper!

Update: Guess what?? I just got a big bottle of Alien Goddess from a friend as birthday present…

Gigigood

Based on the note profile I really thought this was going to be the one. So disappointing!!

Anyone else getting harijuku girls vanilla?

Smells so much like sunscreen on me. I'd be willing to give it a other go in a different season maybe, for now it's a bit fat syntheticy no.

NinaSummer

I honestly don't get any coconut from this. it's just sweet and overpowering and after it has a weird synthetic drydown.

January420

Just meh. I was excited to try this one and when I did it was nice at first but then it just started smelling like something I’ve smelled before. Like something you can smell at bath & body works. It has the typical scent formula. It didn’t blow my socks off by any means and it wouldn’t be an everyday way or favorite for me. I’d give it a 4/10

oea10

This reminds me of a more expensive and woody perfume version of some b&bw soap. It's good, but unremarkable. I wouldn't wear it normally.

deathanxiety

first off, the travel size vial of this is one of my favorite bottle designs-- it looks like a fairy dagger that would do poison damage. so, points for that. I bought this for my trip to the bahamas because I wanted to bottle that experience to sniff later. but it didn't blow my hair back! it's really bright to me, lots of watery coconut and very little vanilla, and it kind of feels like something's missing. it's very sunscreeny, and oddly enough, smells better when it's actually mixed with sunscreen. maybe i would like this more if it had a lactonic, milky note, like more of a coconut milk feel... dunno. it's too bright and fresh for my own personal tastes; i'm not that girl. definitely a springtime/summer daytime frag. beachy. wouldn't repurchase, but will finish my little vial of it this summer, and smelling it does indeed take me back to happily prancing around a bahamian beach, drunk on mai tais. scent memory mission accomplished!

jiaamin

This is so addictive! Nice, creamy gourmand. The jasmine works very well with the coconut and vanilla, making for a comforting scent. Good longevity as well. Would say this is fairly different from other vanilla scents. LOVE the dry down, perfect amount of sweetness.

BellicoseHoney

In the bottle it smells more coconut/sweet but once it hits my skin it's all sunscreen. I also didn't find it to have much longevity.

jadepo21

If the Girl from Ipanema had a scent, this would be it. Bronzed, tropical goddess.

quuaach

Oh, this scent is exquisite. On my skin I can really pick up tropical notes like coconut water and I know mango isn't listed but I swearrrr it smells so much like a soft, juicy, ripe mango. I can't smell vanilla but I can definitely see bergamot and jasmine included in this fragrance. So summery and quite beautiful, blooms well in hot climates but it does get easily oversprayed so be careful! Definitely a boldly sweet, fruity, fun fragrance for my tropical girlies!!

toffeeandcream

Smells like the hottest girl at the dive bar: the one in the corner who’s wearing the coolest outfit you’ve ever seen and somehow makes glitter an art form. If you’re looking for a plain vanilla scent, this is not it: it’s vanilla’s rockstar twin sister, with heavy coconut water and bergamot influences. As someone who tends to gravitate towards sweeter scents, I was pleasantly surprised by alien goddess. This is definitely not an everyday scent for me as it is strong, but it’s a mandatory spritz any time I go out on the town—it’s the kind of scent that gets me attention anywhere I go. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a multidimensional vanilla.

vpace91

I really thought I would love this, but it just smells like coconut sunscreen on me. I can't even smell the vanilla. If you like the idea of smelling like coconut sunscreen, then go for it! It just isn't my cup of tea personally.

smccmurphy

A sunscreeny coconut scent. I see the comparison to beach walk. I think beach walk is better blended, but this has better sillage and longevity.

AshLeigh512

This smells identical to Replica Beach Walk. I really dislike Beach Walk so I was disappointed to discover these smell the same. I love OG Alien but this has no resemblance to that at all. I couldn’t figure out what note in Beach Walk really bothered me but comparing notes to Alien Goddess I think it’s the heliotrope which makes this bright and almost aquatic. Alien Goddess Intense doesn’t have the heliotrope and smells much more like a lux sunscreen with gorgeous vanilla. Alien Goddess isn’t bad but it’s not my taste at all.

Reggyt

I like this. Pretty standard warm perfume. After purchasing other perfumes I find myself reaching for this one less and less.

KaroKat

I love this fragrance! Yes, you can find similar body sprays at B&BWs, but this lasts longer and has more depth. I do agree that there is little to no Alien DNA in Goddess, which for me is a good thing. Alien is too brute a force for me.

shery k

creamy coconut vibe maybe coconut milk
sexy, sweet but not over sweet
you’ve to wear on first date
gorgeous scent

saho93

For me, the coconut dominates, giving a tropical vibe. It feels more like coconut milk than coconut juice/water. I think this will work better for those who want the beach vibe. When I layer with a rose perfume, I think I get gardenia.

isabells

can't believe there isn't a mango note in it, it's the first thing i can smell! It's a lovely beachy scent, but i just can't wear it on super hot days

Rhiman

I was looking for a vanilla based perfume and was spilt between this and the Burberry Goddess and bought this one first. After wearing for a few days, I don't feel as if it meshed with my skin very well. It smelt, to me, very juvenile and for a teen. Still a very nice perfume, but don't blind buy this one. Let it sit on the skin for a few hours and let the scent develop in order to make the best decision for you!

itzjennyfer

Bought this as an alternative to MMM Replica Beach Walk because I saw people said it was similar and I'm already a fan of Alien. While it definitely has the same vibe, Beach Walk is a nicer well blended scent on me. Wish I would've just sprung for the Beach Walk instead.
It smells heavily of coconut for me and powdery somehow, I barely get the vanilla but it is suntan lotion-y.

LavenderQueen0220

If people would stop comparing the original Mugler fragrances to this, that would be great… because this gorgeous fragrance isn’t getting the recognition it deserves and a real review reviews the scents you’re smelling in the present.

Alien Goddess, to my nose, without comparing this to any past Mugler releases, is stunning. I get a warm cashmere, coconut, vanilla, bergamot lingering on my neck for HOURS. And it’s not meant to be overbearing, but the scent lasts for hours, consistent with its sillage. This fragrance is delicious.

The key to spraying fragrances is to hit your pulse points and not right under your noise (because you’ll get too used to it and go nose blind). Two sprays on the right and left side of the neck, and one on the chest, and you’re good to go.

savpls

I didn't love it upon first smell but I find myself obsessed with it; thinking about the smell randomly and wanting to smell it. Very distinctive

svicblejd

This makes me feel like a powerful business woman attending a fancy black tie event. Makes me want to network and close deals. It's creamy, but still kind of fresh and the jasmine comes through nicely. I think it could be a both day and night scent. It can layer nicely. Compliment getter, but only when you hug people, because it doesn't have a huge scent bubble.

honeyedclover

Alien Goddess is silken, creamy jasmine and coconut water, which is extremely cozy, a reverie for those who grew up in the tropics (like myself), where coconut water is easier to come by than regular water, and jasmine is consistently in bloom. The vanilla and cashmere base shine with a warm, inviting tone, like warm sand beneath your feet that makes you a bit sleepy; vanilla isn't cloying and cashmere acts as a bow, tying every note together. There's a dash of powder sprinkled on top of everything. Well blended, lasts 4-6 hours on my skin, and gives a nice scent bubble with 3-4 sprays. Even more gorgeous in the dry-down. Very dreamy, and effortlessly feminine. Reminiscent of passing a beautiful woman on a vacation on a tropical island, the way your heart flutters as you watch her flip her hair, the wind rustles her sundress, she meets your eyes and gives you a coy Mona Lisa smile.

My only remark is that this is absolutely unlike regular Alien at all—maybe OG Alien and Goddess can be third cousins?! I'm not disappointed, as I love both fragrances, it was just a bit interesting this is even considered a flanker, Goddess is much more gentle, more conventional, more beachy, and doesn't rock the boat as much as Alien. If Alien is more hands-on, Goddess prefers to observe from a distance. Perhaps this is a word of caution to those who love Alien and were considering getting their hands on Goddess blindly—but typically, blind-buying is rarely wise. No doubt if someone is a jasmine and vanilla lover, like me, they'll probably end up loving this regardless.

verahoving99

It's kinda like Burberry Goddess but a little more extra, a little more unique.

Silkkscarf

It reminds me of Tom Ford solei blanc. It has the same kind of coconut/ creamy sunscreen scent.

Alien Goddess starts off floral and quite sweet but mellows down quickly. After a few minutes im getting that coconut water smell. On my skin it turns into a soapy, creamy sunscreen with some salty oceany notes. I'm not getting a lot of vanilla but there's a faint warm sweetness that's more caramel/ vanilla extract like.

I wasn't expecting this to be an intimate sent but it has a longevity of ~6h. But I feel like it lasts even longer on clothing and the creamy scent can be a bit nauseating sometimes.

Overall i'll give it a 6. This is a nice summer/ beachy scent :)

Note: I've heard Lattafa yara tous could be a dupe (but haven't tried this myself yet).

dista69

If Alien Goddess is ever discontinued, I’ll be so mad. The perfection of this perfume so outstanding! And yes it lasts me over 8 hours after two sprays on the back of my neck and behind my ears. I ignore the people writing “bringggg backkkk the oldddd Alien perfumessss” and “this is soooooo different from the original” because guess what… it IS. That’s the point! Absolutely delicious!!! I’m on my 3rd 3oz bottle since its release a two years ago. I’m in love. Vanilla coconut cashmere delight!!!

FragranceFlairLatrice

Let me start by saying that I love Alien Goddess Intense and Burberry Goddess. To my nose, Alien Goddess smells rancid on both paper and my skin. It's nausea inducing. I don't smell coconut, nor vanilla. Just a putrid, sour note. I tried to cover the smell with alien goddess intense, which made me more nauseous. I ended up scrubbing myself and spraying Delina all over to get rid of any remnants of Alien Goddess. I wish I got the heavenly beach vibes everyone else smells.

idiotpantsu

DAMN this perfume smells just like my mom in 2010. I have a very soft spot for sweet jasmine smells. Theyre very nostalgic! Alien Goddess is serving a massive coconut-jasmine BOMB and is creamy and comforting as all hell! Lasts a good 6 hours as well with a nice aura of warm milky floral!

EDIT: my mom wore J'adore and the OG Juicy Couture. It smells like those to me, with a lot of beachy coconut. Just creamy enough to not be sunscreeny

dfnseven

It is a lovely creamy coconut vanilla scent. However, the creaminess can be sometimes overwhelming and heavy.

Sarra816

Overall, it is a mature vanilla, not as sweet as La vie est Belle crystal Soleil or Kayali Utopia.
Coconut powder bomb - I get most of the vanilla in the dry down.
Super long lasting, I can smell it on my jacket from yesterday.
Beautiful for the cooler seasons as I find it very heavy in the warmer months,

freya67

Just a boring jasmine bomb to me. Bland.

AmyP707

Welll…I agree with many on here it’s just not the best, nothing too exciting. It’s very powdery. Has a floral dry down. It amazes me that Mugler is ok with subpar perfumes. And then they go and discontinue ones like Angel Muse that was unique and really beautiful. Bring Muse back it’s so much better than this one!!

glowcel

Shampoo! It’s shampoo

ellafragrance

I bought Alien Goddess not long ago, I am waiting for summer to come around to start really using it. I heard some people say it smells like sunscreen in the best way possible. I do see how it smells somewhat like those nice-smelling sunscreens, the ones that I would be jealous of other people owning while I had regular sunscreen. Although, I asked my friend and she doesn't think it smells like suncreen at all.

SummerRose

I bought Alien Goddess Intense and then revisited Alien Goodess a few months ago when I saw it on offer. I bought it because I thought it was "nice" and I was getting it at a good price. Well, after wearing Alien Goddess for a few days, I started to really fall in love with it. It's a polite version of the intense as the jasmine is quite tame. It is smooth, calming, and comforting with the coconut water and vanilla. It is winter here in the UK, and this feels like being wrapped up in a teddy blanket. There are a few fragrances that I have which are good for all year round use and are very comforting, and Alien Goddess is definitely one of them!

On initial spray, it doesn't feel like it's doing much, but it keeps going throughout the day, and I get about 12 hours on my skin with a lovely scent bubble around me. I'm so pleased I got a big bottle! I'm so glad that I gave this another try.

faimdefleur

When i first sniffed at the mall it was like such a warm vanilla and a hint of lactonic and like rum raisin, so i decided to buy a bottle. However, idk why but when i got it. I don't like it at all. I first smell coconut then white floral. I thought okay maybe the dry down will be better, unfortunately NO. good thing it was on sale. It is gourmand but a weird kind. I just don't know when it will be good for. Maybe fall? Eh

Edit: legit smells like pina colada

Meli567

I mostly pick up jasmine. I can detect some vanilla, but for me, this is very jasmine forward. It's really well done, too. This is a fairly long lasting EDP.

sabs1205

Everyone’s body chemistry is different, so my review is based on how Alien Goddess performs on my skin, as well as my taste in the scent, itself.

I absolutely LOVE this perfume. Mugler’s OG fragrances have always been unique and had the reputation for strong performance and lasting power. The new Alien and “flankers” released have been given negative reviews by some due to comparison with the old scents and based on newcomers.

Alien Goddess performs beautifully on my skin and even better than on my clothes, which is where I usually have found perfumes to last longer. The opening of bergamot hits deliciously and the lingering notes of vanilla, jasmine, and cashmere bring a beautifully creamy consistency to the nose. I sprayed four sprays behind my ears and one on my chest. I can still smell it after 7 hours. The beachy creamy vibes aren’t overpowering, and that’s what I love. Price point is high, so I’m glad I got this as a gift…. However, this bottle will definitely last me for more than a year, considering I don’t have to spray it a billion times to get the proper effect.

Beautiful scent. Cool AF bottle. I do, in fact, feel like a goddess! It’s a winner, for me!

Madzmadz

Brought this from a tiktok recommendation.
Very disappointed. You can definitely pick up the floral and vanilla smells. Not worth purchasing and would not encourage anyone to blind purchase. I think this is one of those scents that you either love or hate.

bubsy4d

I don’t like to write reviews usually but this has to be one of the worst fragrances I’ve ever tried. I was expecting something intense, beautiful and interesting like other Mugler scents but all I got was an insanely boring and bland fume, even after revisiting many times. Imagine Alien or Angel as a gourmet burger while Alien Goddess is a basic hamburger from Burger King. While some people may like it at first, you just keep buying them out of desperation because you only have 5 dollars in your checking and you can’t afford anything else. You get completely sick of them. Even the taste, smell or sight of it will make you throw up in your mouth. That’s what this fragrance feels like to me, the scent of the worst possible teacher from your school years. Sampling more perfumes lately has got me to realize that so many fragrances on the market currently smell extremely boring and gross, just the exact same sickly scent repeated over and over. It makes me so sad to see Mugler falling into these trends, especially having released such avant-garde, polarizing and experimental scents before. I hope they turn it around in the future, at least.

StllM@gnolia30

I enjoy floral perfumes. So, I was hoping to enjoy this one. At first, it smelled overwhelmingly musky on my skin and I was disappointed. Not only was I not smelling anything resembling floral but I was also smelling something that seemed way to generic. Once it dried down though the floral notes peeked through. True, I still do not think it is floral enough for my taste and leans more towards the musky. But I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

maybe_maybe not*

When I first tested it I was excited and I would smell the paper again and again for days, loved the creamy coconut and vanilla combination. The bergamot and the floral notes add a light bitterness to the scent at the beginning. At the dry down it becomes really nice but on me the projection is non existent.Yes it lasts but it is totally skin scent and I have it for quite a long time.I really believe it is a very good perfume - not with the alien dna at all- but its projection is a strong minus
if you consider its price too.

Vmich

Not super exciting. Poweder scent is very forwards, I think you could find another perfume that smells exactly like this from any other well known brand. Nothing that stands out to me- powder, slight hint of fruit, but I actually don’t catch the vanilla. The dry down is better than the opening.

bobecca

Vacation in a bottle

Smelling this is such a relaxing, comforting sensation. Reminds me of being by the ocean, basking in the sun. The vanilla and cashmere provide a nice, soft base, while the florals and coconuts/bergamot add great complexity. I loooove. Not basic to me tbh. Also, the bottle is gorgeous

sarahlage

I didn't enjoy the initial bergamot note, but I have to say that the dry-down is absolute perfection! Vanilla-forward but not overly sweet or cloying, and with a complementary floral background. I find it lovely and have added it to my wishlist! The coconut note is also fantastic, which is something perfumers often get wrong. A+ from me!

kittenpawz

Oh my God. I have finally found my signature fragrance.

Alien Goddess is pure bliss. Absolute olfactory heaven. Masterpiece. I would never assume it was made in 2021 - it seems to belong to the era of perfumes from my childhood (2000s) and reminds me of many wonderful things I smelled as a kid. There's no way for me to track them down now, seeing as I didn't know anything about perfume then and don't even remember who or what smelled so appealing.
Nevertheless, I found it all in Alien Goddess. I found everything I've always been looking for, both as a kid, fascinated by the wonderous world of perfumery, and as an adult who's been desperately trying to find my perfect scent.

In my childhood I always imagined that girls that smell this way are spoiled rotten by their men/families, always dressed to the nines, vacation in the best most secluded spots, never have problems in their love life, excel at the subject of etiquette, read sophisticated foreign books and have the most endearing smile. This is what happiness smelled like to me as a child. On a few occasions when I was Christmas shopping with my mom, someone would pass by smelling of a similar perfume and I thought that it would make, like, the best gift from Santa ever.

And now that I smelled Alien Goddess, I instantly recognized my scent of happiness in it. I've been on cloud nine ever since it touched my skin. Overall I'd say it takes the best out of 2000s perfumes and masterfully combines girlish naivete (like that of Juicy Couture) with refinedness of a lady (like that of D&G). It is sweet in the most sophisticated manner. There are many gorgeous, alluring sweet perfumes but this is one of the few that smell classy and luxurious as well. Very womanly but not matronly, very youthful but not juvenile, carefree yet not devoid of depth.

Note-wise this is the very first perfume where one of my no go notes, bergamot, doesn't bother me at all, and nor does heliotrope. The latter I don't sense at all whereas the former plays a complimentary role and doesn't interfere with the beauty of the composition by making it overly citrusy or bitter. It remains a sweet, creamy and cozy perfume with gourmand undertones - not totally edible but still unsuitable for those who are completely opposed to gourmands. It is also extremely well blended in my opinion - I get a sense of harmony from this fragrance, as if each note like a piece of the puzzle fits perfectly together and you no longer view them as separate pieces but as one complete picture. In this picture I see mystical otherworldly beauty, completely justifying the name of the fragrance. A scent from heavens above. It starts off quite intense but while the perfume itself is long-lasting, that intensity is short-lived. By the end of the day it begins to show traces of the prickly and bitterish-woody Alien DNA which is an interesting twist given how different the perfume is in the beginning. I'd never call it boring or generic, but then again I'm not really into Mugler, and Alien Goddess not being your typical Mugler style was what initially caught my attention.

I have seriously never in my life resonated with a fragrance more than I do with Alien Goddess. It's the scent of my soul. So comforting, so nourishing, so personal. In this very moment I feel like I want to wear it every day for the rest of my life, and while I certainly will crave other perfumes soon, Alien Goddess will become a staple in my collection, for I have never smelled anything more divine and closer to the elusive feeling of happiness.

First two times I tested this, I got mostly coconut and vanilla. It reminded me a lot of Harajuku Lovers G, actually! Today is the third time trying it, and my body chemistry is bringing out the jasmine a lot more. The coconut smells quite buttery too, and it smells so good with the vanilla. Alien Goddess doesn't share much similarities to the original Alien (which I actually wore Saturday night), but I truly think it is delightful. I am really wanting to add Alien Goddess Intense to my collection....but now I want this one too lol.

vanilladoll

got the chance to try this today and had to put it on my want list after. i LOVE IT!!! this is the only scent me and my friends all agreed on. i don’t know how to describe it. i think it’s the coconut water note that really sticks out to me, it’s a unique smell. the florals are light and sweet, definitely a lot of jasmine, and the vanilla and cashmere blends everything beautifully and makes it creamy and delicate. so good ^__^

edit: i tried this again during my most recent sephora trip and it’s a completely different perfume. i thought maybe i tried the intense version when i wrote my original review, but the only bottles on display were alien, alien goddess and alien goddess supra florale. oddly enough, i think i was smelling the supra florale. that one has some depth at least, whereas all i get from this is jasmine. pretty bummed and confused! i wanted a full bottle of the stuff i originally smelled.

edit 2: i figured it out! the bottle i smelled was the intense version. smells just like i remembered it :-) although i will add that it does kind of smell like sunscreen.

I don't understand how it doesn't last for everyone else, when I opened my wardrobe the next day after wearing Goddess it was ENGULFED in the perfume from my jacket, it's really long lasting for sure. And this is from 3 sprays

toosimilar

Much better than 90% of other sweet fragrances
Sweet, but nicely sweet, cozy and coconutty :)

tealoveZ

Generic summery vanilla with jasmin undertones and a pinch of coconut. Sweet. Creamy. Uninspiring. Lacks freshness. Jasmin is overly synthetic smelling. Can't smell Alien dna at all

unicajiha_01

I’m confused whether ill buy it, it’s on sale at Macys right now unfortunately when I tested it it’s gone within an hour, it’s so subtle and not worth the money. The scent is def generic and very soft to your nose.

R.diggity

Becoming my favorite sun tan lotion scent. In layer this under blue fragrances to give a beach vibe. White musk is perfect, not overly synthetic and dryer sheet.

With a name like "Alien Goddess," you would think that this perfume would be out-of-this-world interesting. I had hoped that I would get mature, sexy, and unusual notes, but instead this is basically like Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena with a higher price tag. It's not bad. It's just not for me.

This could be a very nice perfume for people who like citrusy and tropical scents. The sillage is strong without being overpowering, and it has excellent longevity. The scent is young and playful without being overly juvenile. I could see this becoming someone else's signature scent.

hotbaby1

Wonderful scent for summer. This is awesome in hot days as well. Initially it throws me off because the middle smells almost like bananas, but the dry down is amazing. Feminine, summery, delicate yet present. Great longevity. If you are looking for an everyday summer scent that will make you feel feminine and sweet, go for Alien Goddess.

Bachi

I decided to test this today on one arm and on the other Burberry Goddess. AG is more citrusy and soft. BG has a beautiful, powerful opening but after a half hour, it completely changes. AG is a sweet piña colada scent. In this cold weather, the citrus came out first. It took a while to get to the coconut note. I really enjoy this perfume and I can see wearing it in the summer. It reminds me of BBW´s old coconut lime verbena which I already have. The opening is very citrusy, which I love. The middle is ok, very soft. And the dry down has that underlying coconut scent with a juicy hint of pineapple which isn't listed. The dry down is very creamy and just right. What surprised me is how long it has lasted! 6 hours and counting! Yes, it has softened, but I sprayed lightly. I can see wearing this more in the summertime with the heat and humidity bringing out the warmer notes. The cold draws out the citruses and it seems that summer temperatures would bring out the coconut and vanilla. This is a love!

harryballs

If you've ever been to a hindu temple, that's exactly what this smells like. It's pleasant but kind of boring to me, it doesn't really have a kick.

scenchanting

Super sweet powdery vanilla and I love it but It's make me rarely used this because sometimes feels too sweet so it's doesn't suit to use everyday and doesn't really match with many activity for me, it's more fit for indoor activity and yeah my sister took this one for me :( 7,5/10

rene.saller

You'd think the goddess version of Alien would be more imposing and arresting than the OG EDP, but Alien Goddess is just the opposite--more demure and airy, more like an Alien fairy princess than the Alien incarnation of a badass deity like Kali, the goddess of death, destruction, and rebirth--a cosmic Mother Nature. I just have a travel-size sprayer of Alien Goddess, a third of an ounce, and barring some kind of amazing, blink-and-you-miss-it kind of deal, I think this travel sprayer of Alien Goddess will probably be enough for me, even though I like it and find it much more wearable than Alien. Probably thanks to my renewed love affair with Guerlain, I have been getting into vanilla and heliotrope a lot more lately, and this vanilla-forward flanker is a much less aggressive fragrance than the OG Alien, which I love but seldom feel like wearing. In fact, I'm not sure I would have instantly recognized that this was an Alien flanker if I had sniffed this blindfolded. Yes, you can definitely smell the jasmine behind the vanilla and ambers, but many perfumes have white florals these days, and softened or diluted by the coconut water, it has nowhere near the intensity it has in the OG Alien. This is a very nice fragrance, but I'm not falling in love with it, the way I have with some other perfumes in this price range.

Update: Going through a bit of a Nathalie Lorson appreciation phase, so I sprayed this on this morning, wondering if my impression would change much. It's not as challenging as some of her "pointier" perfumes, and it also has a bit of the Britney Fantasy "cupcake" DNA, which isn't the way I like my vanilla. In some ways, this smells like what would happen if some marketing brainiac instructed the noses to create a hybrid of Alien and Dior Addict with a dash of Dior Hypnotic Poison. "And throw in some coconut, too, why not? Make it feel like vacation!"

Again, it's far from unpleasant, but it seems like it might have been focus-grouped into submission. A real goddess wouldn't stand for that treatment.

JetsBabe

Not alien twin but still awesome and unique! Worth buying. And long lasting

suzanne_ronald

Fluffy, Sweet, Beachy, Solar-Vanilla with Jasmine....
This 2021 Amber Floral flanker of the Alien Mugler jasmine scent, plays up the creamy, beachy white-floral facets of jasmine, blended with Bourbon vanilla & coconut water. Opens with a sweet burst of coconut-water accented with bergamot, but already vanilla is swelling through. The overall effect here in the opening notes is a beachy, solar vanilla, with reminders for me of Vanilla Fields Coty. As it transitions to the heart, powdery, white-floral & floral tones emerge with soft pale purples of jasmine & heliotrope at the centre. Bourbon vanilla & cashmeran in the base keep the beachy effect going for well beyond average performance, continuing to sweeten as it's drying down. In the long drydown, the Bourbon facets of vanilla slowly emerge with a faint near-cinnamon spiciness. This has excellent performance for year round wear, that could even cut through the cool air of winter, but the beachy vibe make it most appropriate for summer days and nights. This gorgeous beachy vanilla-jasmine scent has spawned many dupes, clones and similar scents. I just have a sample, but scents in my collection with versions of this DNA include: Olympéa Solar Paco Rabanne, Holidays Mancera & Pink Brilliance English Laundry. It's a love for me. 9/10. Enjoy!

Irina_Spalko

It managed to hook me in the store. Vanilla and cashmere with a hint of coconut. But when I got it home, realized I have too many other scents with the same notes to be worth keeping. The sillage is weak, and I am guessing this is to attract "Gen Z" customers, as explained on the Mugler website. In spite of this it left my clothes smelling musky and worn and in need of being laundered (like clothes from a second hand shop). Will probably give it away to a friend because I know anyone would probably like it. Reminds me of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist.

hypothesise

tropical, powdery vanillic & coconutty. the vanilla and cashmeran give it enough depth that it could function for me as the perfect transition fragrance into the very beginning of fall w/o having to sacrifice the refreshing well needed bursts of coconut and bergamot for the residual heat. the bergamot in the opening was a tad screechy and idk? metallic(?) to me at first. it's worn off over time but the unpleasant part lasted for such a brief amount of time that it was no use knocking major points off it.

the adage in fragcom seems to be that one is either an Angel or an Alien person. tbh i'm neither. both originals have knocked me on my ass in the worst possible way w/ Alien coming off as nothing but artificial grape flavor galore [think of the purple jolly rancher taste/smell but then add an overwhelming feeling of nausea] and Angel being close to scrubber territory with its patchouli dominance and clusterfuck of ingredients. BUT i see now that the answer for me might very well be in the flankers because this is a winner in my book for .

pairs beautifully with others in my summer wardrobe. my only concern was it's lasting power but I took it on vacation w/ me along with Eau de Soleil Blanc to see which was the last one standing and fell in love with the way it performed. the ad campaign is also rlly what sold me on this as well w/ the bjork/ willow smith usage.

i get that it's nowhere near what diehards would have expected from such a polarising house as Mugler but that doesn't mean it isn't good. i detect zero trace of the original Alien DNA though so I do wonder what the reception would have been like if this was released independently of the Alien line and the expectation of what it /should/ have smelled like in respect to its predecessors.

Russiandoll

Cheap vanilla and honey soap

jsmn

Spicy coconut vanilla. Did not expect it to be spicy based on notes.

vanialla22

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FROM MUGLER! I am so happy I only got this for less than 400 dirhams from a trusted online shop in Dubai. It's so so so worth it! It lasts pretty well on my skin, but longer on my clothes.

funkadelic15

Thankfully only tried a sample bottle, because on me, this one really doesn't do it at all. In the bottle it smells nice, but when sprayed on it me, all I get is like a coconut and a spicy vibe, which doesn't make a lot of sense for the notes (no spice)... i think its the mix of vanilla and citrus on my skin; just doesnt work for my skin.
But honestly , it smells like this coconut hairspray and curl cream that my mom and i use from the drug store. Not that it is bad per-se, but these products are roughly cost $7 and really give the same essence/trail... so ultimately it really smells cheap.

Maailman Katselija

I was not really a fan of this one when it first came out. Happily I only bought a travel-size bottle back then, because it was a blind buy and I did not want to take too many risks. All I could feel was a dusty coconut, like the one you usually smell in cheap shower gels, so I stopped using it after three or four tests and forgot about it for a couple of years. Today I have found the bottle while cleaning my wardrobe and decided to give it one more try before giving it away. Surprisingly, not only did I find it likeable, but also decided to buy a 30 ml bottle. Reasons for such a radical change of perception:
1) the coconut now feels rather creamy instead of dusty
2) the vanilla and cashmeran can be noticed in the drydown, although they are quite subtle
3) it actually lasted the whole day on my moisturized skin

Not sure if my body chemistry has changed so much over these years (meanwhile I had a pregnancy, so that would be the only physical change I have experienced), but I know I can find no other logical explanation. Anyway, I am gladly welcoming this perfume on my shelf very soon.

perfumeleopard

I would say this is a cross between Harajuku Lovers G and Juliette Has A Gun Vanilla Vibes. A sweet and sheer coconut with a little bit of a salty play doh vanilla base. I have samples of both this and the intense version and I am having a hard time figuring out which one I like better! This one is definitely lighter and more summery than the intense version. If you aren’t a fan of the original Alien you do not have to be afraid to try this one.

emilia123

When I tried this on at Ulta, I really liked it. Then I got a sample for myself and while I loved the opening, the dry down gave me that Play Dough-y vibe that some get from Hypnotic Poison.

NatyNaty

I bought a travel spray of Alien Goddess and I'm obsessed! I love coconut/vanilla scents and this beauty is perfectly blended. Yes, it's a bit basic with that sunscreen vibes but the composition, lasting power (on me) and the jasmine-heliotrope notes added to this magical juice make it the perfect summer scent. I will definitely buy the full size bottle. This is now one of my favorite perfumes in my collection!

Elees6

I’m sorry I wanted to love this but as other said it’s sooo boring. I’m also not knocked out by the original Alien but these notes seemed so different than the I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s monotone, soft, generic and missing that special something. Maybe you could layer just to use it up? Couldn’t imagine anyone noticing this enough to compliment it.

Decode

A nice coconut water and vanilla perfume. Kind of boring and basic imo. It smells good layered with Cheirosa 71 from Sol De Janeiro and makes it wearable in the fall/winter months.

francesco_grieco

Alien Goddess by Mugler is undeniably trashy, insolent, and unapologetically provocative, making it abundantly clear that it's not for the prude. This fragrance doesn't hold back, packing an intense punch of jasmine that's so potent it might just trick you into thinking it's tuberose. It's overwhelming and unabashedly plasticky. Strangely enough, I don't find myself disliking it; instead, I'm captivated by its boldness.

vnttj_144

A warm and sweet fragrance. A heart of vanilla framed by the coconut. You can detect a jasmine bush nearby. It is really pleasant and comforting, like a cashmere scarf, but not cloying.

Crys777

Smells SO good. That was my reaction when I put it on for the first time. It’s a delicious, unique, beachy smell. I would not want to smell like this all the time, though, it’s just not really my thing.

sunzalkookie

I finally emptied my bottle. All I can say is that I love it. I live in the tropics, so there's really no ocassion that I can't wear this. As a 22 F, it's one of my most complimented perfumes to date. Of course, it's not complex or unique, but it's a really safe, easy -reach fragance. Super versatile and sweet.

The sunscreeny aspect is not that prominent for me, but it's there. It lasts a good 6-8 hours and has a really decent projection. Some reviews saying that it's mature for the powdery aspect, but it's quite muted for me and not makeupy. It has a bit of warmth, so it can be worn year round if the sunscreen note is not a problem for you. The coconut and flowers are way more prominent on me than the vanilla.

In all a 8/10

jujuba4596

The coconut water and vanilla combination makes this a lighter version of La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal. It does not resemble the Alien OG in any aspect. Despite all of this, Alien Goddess is really good! Go for it if you want a sweet summer day scent.

AlliCat1215

I have to rate it as just ok because it’s just your standard summer sunscreen coconut scent. It smells good, but too similar to other scents (like beach walk) to justify purchasing. I also found it didn’t last on me. The intense version is much better!

WhiteFlowerPrincess

I definitely don't like this flanker of Alien as much as the original Alien. This version of Alien smells very mass market and mainstream and like it is trying to appeal to too many different types of people to my nose.

It's like an amalgamation of a sweet gourmand mixed with a white floral fragrance all in one and it smells like it doesn't know what it wants to be really. The coconut water, bergamot and frankly too much vanilla give this that gourmet twist, the jasmine is the white floral element and the heliotrope and the cashmeran combined together is the musky and powdery part of this fragrance.

It frankly smells kind of cheap and not particularly well-blended or original. It is the sort of scent that I could imagine someone on Youtube, Instagram or Tik Tok raving about because they got paid to rave about it and then forget about this fragrance a couple of weeks later.

On my skin Alien Goddess projected about arm's length away and it lasted 6 hours in total on my skin. It is good value for money for sure and it isn't a bad perfume, but I'd still only give Alien Goddess by Thierry Mugler a 5/10 honestly.

Kinga_

Coconutty vanilla sunscreen. Quite common DNA recently. IMO it didn't deserve Alien label.

It's more of a scent for a body mist than perfume. Verdict: a bit better than okay.

mugIer

Smells SO fucking yummy it will make you smell edible. The first smell you pick up right after spraying is a perfectly sweet coconut, then on the dry-down it kind of smells like a nutty lovely vanilla, like eating vanilla cookies while in a cozy bed in autumn.. If you hate this perfume for no reason or even without having tried it just because you think it's gonna be a hostile fragrance like Angel just because it's Mugler, you're honestly kinda weird and I dont understand you. Mugler perfumes for the win, this is definitely my signature fragrance.

MelindaS

This will always be in my fragrance collection and is in my top 3 of all time. I wore this for my fall wedding, I love it that much. From the notes you would picture this being summery and tropical, and although I think this could be worn in the summer, there is a creamy, cashmeran, velvety warmth to this that makes this a LOVE for me in the fall. The coconut in this is not tanning oil-esque or synthetic smelling, and the heliotrope lends a gorgeous uniqueness to this. It is delicate and, for me, lays closer to the skin, but lasts quite a long time, especially on clothes. This is gorgeous.

scarlett.angel

I don't know about this one for hot Australian summers... I still have Alien Eau Extraordinaire and it's much fresher... don't know if I could do creamy, powdery, coconuts in this heat and humidity. Coconut water would've been better. Or just a summer jasmine version.

junimo

Not often that I find a vanilla scent that specifically feels mature to me, but this is one of them. Very, very powdery. Would have loved if the coconut was noticeable in this.

Though it's heavy, it's nowhere near as intense as Alien/does not smell similar to me at all. I don't think it's fair to compare them.

Ended up gifting my bottle to an older woman who really enjoyed it.

PuppyFever

This has a similar vanilla note to Valentino's Voce Viva. In later stages, the jasmine and coconut have a similar texture to Dior's Hypnotic Poison. To me it's vanilla ice cream in a bottle. I love a refreshing, easy-to-wear sweetness, that is milky smooth, with some depth.

dantar

forget the notes and beach/sunscreen vibes everyone is talking about, curly heads, i got you. pov: it’s wash day and you just stepped out the shower. you combed your hair and are ready to style it. what do you reach for? if it’s 2018 it’s probably cantu. you put your styling cream, hair soufflé, or gel and leave the house once its nice and dry. you get whiffs of that clean coconut scent throughout the day. all is good. that’s what it smells like.

Isabella2003

Loooove it for summer its genuinly the perfect summer scent. It smells like sandy sunny beaches and vacation. Vanilla and coconut more prominently, with white florals. Its perfect for the summer and maybe spring

MaxieF

Was this secretly reformulated? I tested this bottle at ulta and it was definitely just goddess , not the intense and it smelled like sweet vanilla. And so I ordered a bottle and what I got was a lot more floral and almost smells like it had neroli.

Aleksiya

To me it's the perfect smell for white dresscode- Sweet and innocent. Using this if I'm invited for child birthday. Soft and cozy

vinegarsyndrome

If Mugler was aiming for Gen Z they sorely missed the mark. I'm a little older than that and wearing this makes me feel like a sexy post-menopausal woman in crisp whites sipping chilled Pinot Gris overlooking the surf in St. Tropez. It's a smooth, sophisticated sunscreen scent - no one note pops out at you.

cawico7

I really wanted this to become my "beachy vibes" scent, and honestly it smelled almost perfect for that purpose - very subtle and powdery, with all the described notes being very recognizable and well blended. Feminine, summery, sunny, warm, yet not "cheap".
But the drydown on me absolutely ruined this initial impression, even though I'm still going to put this into my "liked" category. It was super coppery, like I was sniffing a bunch of pennies. Had to take a shower because it was that unpleasant. Guess this is a reminder to always test scents on your own skin first, because you really may not expect some of the possible outcomes!

cristianaclg

Definitely powdery and has a lot of vanilla in it. I wish it would last longer, because it is not the most affordable fragrance. Pretty pricey for its performance.

flem

Salty, coconut. Kind of fuzzy and powdery. A little bit of an amber vibe and, for me, a little bit cloying. Not really for being overly sweet, but likely because of the saltiness. Whatever it is that creates the salt effect often gives me a headache.

punkcat_

More of white floral than coconut for me. And to be honest i cant even get the coconut note. But it is beautiful. Not too heavy, just right for summer. Projection is AMAZING. Whenever i wear this perfume, people i walk by ask me what i wear. Everytime i go out with this perfume i at least hear one comment about it. The baristas, waitresses, cashiers, even the lady who was doing my laser removal asked me about my perfume :). I get compliments from men a lot too, when you enter a closed area, the smell fills almost the whole room. I took the bus the other day and heard some girls saying “what’s this smell? So good” so if you want something with amazing projection, definitely buy this

Norie

The coconut and bourbon vanilla help the white florals blend into this creamy sensual fragrance (playful yet mature). It has a complexity that can be worn year-round; the top notes help the fragrance work in hotter months and the base notes for cooler months. It transforms on the skin over hours and has beautiful longevity when sprayed directly on fabric. The bottle is unique in the world of designer fragrances and really adds to any collection. How it manages both a creamy and powdery feel is beyond me but that is the skill of a master perfumer. This fragrance received backlash upon its unveiling, but it has managed a cult following for a reason.

judearose123

I love this one. I started with a travel size in 2021 when I didn’t know a single thing about fragrances. Fast forward to summer of 2023 when I have 20+ bottles in my collection, I finally pick up a 30ml bottle on vacation and remember why I fell in love with it. The coconut doesn’t linger for too long so I think this counts as a year round scent, it’s fresh but the vanilla and cashmere in the dry down are cozy. You can always rely on Mugler for performance, I threw on 3-4 sprays at noon and was complimented at 5pm right as I was planning on touching up. If you love jasmine, bourbon vanilla and bergamot you’ll love this.

dandeli0n

It's peaceful I mean who doesn't like sweet coconut vanilla but I never get this every fragrance smells generic at the end, the drydown for every perfume is dissapointing so I stopped wasting money on perfumes and just use lotions because they work for me better.

farfalle

This smells a lot like the first couple hours of Britney Spears Fantasy. I blind bought a partially used travel spray of Alien Goddess along with some other second-hand fragrances and I don't see myself spending money on this again in the future, though I reckon I might gravitate towards it a few times a year until it's used up.

SalinasL

I was wearing this babysitting yesterday with a spray of Molecule 02 underneath. I couldn’t smell it unless I put my nose to my wrist, but a six-year-old boy loudly and persistently asked “What smells so good?!” every time he was near me. I like this on its own too, but it doesn’t project much or stick around for long that way. A somewhat generic, coconut/vanilla/heliotrope, easy reach for me, but one that I could see being popular with the men-folk. Of all ages apparently : )

Amatieni

Sillage & staying power pretty decent. 4-5 hours later I could still smell it pretty strongly on my clothes.

The smell itself though, 5/10. Has potential, but it's just too coconutty, so much so, that it becomes bitter.

rachaelol

I can't stand the OG Alien but this is lovely. It's a much softer, more feminine cousin to the OG Alien. I don't really get much more that a hint of the coconut notes on my skin, but the bergamot, vanilla, and jasmine come through perfectly. Rich and sophisticated but still bright and fun. The vibe for me is "expensive shopping spree charged to my older, wealthy husband's credit card before a weekend getaway" if that makes sense :D
